Technically this blog's name is progressions. That is because it was initially going to be a place where I documented the progression of "giving new life to vintage finds" which was the blogs initial tag line as well.
What I never saw coming was the blog itself progressing. It is still a host to projects, how to's, and thoughts, but has also become a documenting forum for the progression of my day to day activities.
I have a wonderful family here in Maine. My wife who I met in 5th grade is pretty much the awesomest person ever. To put up with me for the last 9 years is no easy task. Plus she is beautiful!!
We have 2 boys who you will often see in photos, as we do almost everything together. It is fun to see the conversations happen that I remember being on the other side of... I am understanding why my parents said "no" so much.
Our 3rd son will be here in December!!
Blogging and Etsy is not my full time job, I work for a software company, and do drive to the cubicle 40 hours a week. I love making stuff in the evenings and weekends, because it takes me into a completely different work space.
I am also currently the Captain of the Etsy Blog Team, an amazing group of bloggers who also run Etsy shops. We talk about how to make both work, share tips and tricks, and learn from each other.
